When it comes to childhood treats, the easier the better. And when it comes to sweet, Cherry Surprise is hard to beat.
Ingredients

- 2 cans Cherry Pie Filling
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 2 plain white (Funfetti for Christmas) cake mixes
- 2 ½ sticks of butter
- Cool Whip
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350° for metal pans or 325° for glass pans.
In a 13” x 9” pan mix cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple together.

Sprinkle dry cake mixes on top.

Cover in a layer of thin slices of butter.

Bake for 1 hour or until top is golden brown.

Serve with Cool Whip.
